In the summer, lifeguards are on duty everyday (starting at 11am on weekdays). They give swim tests to kids 12 and under every hour so they can swim in the deep parts.
Beautiful reservoir area to go boating with great views of the mountains . Be mindful it's $5 per person to park and all boats require permits...
Grab your dog and bathing suit! Pass the pay station, park in the next lot you see with cars. At the shore, you will find a cross between a dog park and a beach for sunbathing . Amazing!
