Mission Bay Park is great for walking, running, skating , & probably the best place for kite flying in San Diego. Our kids love the large playground south of the Hilton. Pack a picnic & enjoy the day.
Mission Bay Park is an excellent park for kids. Plenty of swings and slides with lots of space to play, fly kites and enjoy a picnic .

mission bay park is wonderful for kids except you have to pay attention to druggies and drunks throwing stuff on sand
Nice place to run. Not much shade but usually overcast and temperature is cool. Just get there before 9:30am to be able to find parking .
