While Napoleon 's tomb might be drawing the crowds the military and historical museums are well worth the effort. To appreciate it fully you'll have to reserve a whole day for this place. But worth it

This was probably the highlight of my visit to Paris. The chapel inside and the music they play in reverence to the fallen soldiers of France is moving. The historical armor collection is awesome.

We stopped in on a rainy day. As two girly girls, we were not sure if we would enjoy the military objects, but we were entirely entranced.

Very nice museum , just make sure it doesn't close while you're inside since it does take quite a long time to go through it.

Napoleon Bonaparte and also some war fighters are buried in here. Amazing place.

Skip the rest of the museum , and see Napoleon 's Tomb. Plus the gardens are stunning.

Such an impressive collection of WWI military uniforms.

The Army Museum closes at 6 pm. It takes at least 2,5 hours. The tomb of Napoleon closes 1 hour later
