Bathrooms on the first floor are public, the Mart has free Wifi , the foodcourt on the second floor was renovated less than a year ago, along with Marshall's Landing as well .

Second-largest building in the world; it actually has its own zipcode! Wholesale furniture and furnishings store for buyers all over the world w/ 600 permanent showrooms, and a great bookstore .

Massive place. You WILL get lost. But they have everything. Including great food!

Starbucks has a great location with a lounge for customers at the Merchandise Mart.

Make sure you have a sound escape plan when visiting. Got a parking ticket because I couldn't figure out how to exit the building in time :( parking meter vultures

Take unnecessary elevator trips during Neocon and give out bad directions "try the better coffee place on the 8th floor. No line !"

The best coffee in the building is from the shop in 1871 on the 12th floor.

If you want a quiet space to relax, check out the lounge on the 14th floor .

Check out the food court on the second floor. Not the easiest building to navigate.

Renovations in 2016 should bring the Merch Mart into the 21st century!

Watch out on weekends - some elevators only work on weekdays. Go to the main lobby if in doubt.

On the second floor lobby, the Argo Tea and Starbucks compete in neighboring storefronts. Argo has better drinks but SBux has free WiFi . Sit in the lobby and enjoy both.

The south lobby on the main floor is a lovely oasis, furnished with comfortable couches and chairs.

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. I am a decor nut and I really wished I could have worked with this building for @FIJIhunt but they close early on Saturday.

Masters of None in the Etsy Pavilion for The One of A Kind Show sells the best stuff!

Go to the Artisan Cellar on the first floor and get an Illy Espresso or an Americano . Awesome and the folks are nice.
