Local hidden gem that your neighbor prob doesn't want to tell you about for fear of giving up their seat! Make a reservation & order the steak . Eclectic clientele & overall good service .

RaShonda (shessavvy)

During the summer, order the lobster rolls . The lobster has the right amount of mayo and the bread has the perfect amount of sweetness. The side of picked veggies was a great addition.

Aimee Aimee

Fish tacos not on menu anymore so had pork tacos . Very small portions but tasty. Service was maybe best i've ever had, nice people, good attitudes. Wonderfully eclectic clientel , will eat here again.

If you don't mind sitting on barstools, there is a spot that is quiet & gives a view of the whole restaurant . It's at the bar by the storefront window. Great area and open even when place is full!

Andrew

If you like the decor in the restroom , you can take it home! $19 per plate.

Connie

Love on your bartenders because they love on you! Some of the neatest people in the area eat at the bar . Strike up a conversation!

The wood-grilled 'world-famous' dry-aged NY strip is worth every penny. Split it w a friend & enjoy.

Best place in town to observe (& maybe meet) all the authors doing signings at nearby Politics & Prose.

The cowboy cut rib eye is just about the best in DC and beats the high profile places downtown.

The steak is pretty darn delicious! Get it. Do work.

"World famous" wood grilled dry aged steak is super salty and super greasy. I've had much better steaks at much cheaper prices.

The Yalie isn't quite New Haven authentic but it's probably the best DC can do. That said, Comet is a lovely pizza place! Great atmosphere and service. - Julia Lord Nickle
