Pickett's Charge was an infantry assault ordered by Confederate Gen. Lee against Maj. Gen. Meade 's Union positions on Cemetery Ridge on July 3, 1863, the last day of the Battle of Gettysburg.
Site of one of the battles that secured Union victory during the Civil War. Gettysburg Park is a must-see.
Take your time and really take it in. If you listen closely you can almost hear it happening.
