Herriard Tunworth Cheese sharer is Divine. Garlic , Thyme with masses of warm French bread , apple slices & a chilli & fruit chutney which packs a punch. Team with the Vicien Malbec Argentinian red.
Food is excellent & good selection of wines . Try the Venison Ragu . Ice creams are very good - as an added touch they add a sprinkling of popping candy which actually goes well with ginger ice cream .
Very friendly pub . Delightful beer garden with chickens running around. Great real ales .
They have their own hens busy laying eggs at the back of the pub so even the omelettes are extra tasty. Delicious.
