Taste almost the same as the original one in Penang but sadly the cendol amount is lesser. Price is almost double (as expected) but in return you'll get free aircond, covered area and good service ☺
Although it's not as good as the original stall in Penang, it has been the best in Klang Valley. It tastes not too sweet like others.
Tried their original and durian cendol ! Please do not expect loads of durian in your cendul. Anyways, they're great to quench thirst and tastyyy!
quality dropped tremendously. ice shavings the size of little pebbles, coconut milk tastes watered down, and gula melaka you assume it's there by the faint brown stain in the vast ocean of white.
Overall, their Assam Laksa and Chendol were pretty good. Nicely packaged for take aways too. But ultimately, the price vs portion/amount of ingredients cast a heavy shadow on my experience.
Must try especially penang curry mee , they have their own special taste which is difficult to find in k.l, closest is lorong seratus tahun
Forgot how it taste in penang but it is still good... will try thier assam laksa and also rojak next time
Their white curry mee is more authentic compare to Old Town cafe ...
I, for one, actually really enjoyed the assam laksa . Btw those of you passing racist remarks about the foreign staff here, why don't YOU go back to where you came from? Sheesh.
Best cendol in town . Assam Laksa taste better than any shop in pj area selling this food.
Eat it if you are desperate for a bowl of cendol , otherwise, go for the real stuff in Penang. The stall at Presgrave Road , to be precised.
Cendol and Ice Kacang are great! But others such as rojak and Asam laksa are just not what I expected.
long wait but the cendul and assam laksa is very good! will try curry laksa next time!
Rm6.90 for a rojak that taste 1/4 of one at any pasarmalam. Rip off. Don't be taken in by the crowd n bright lights. The laksa may be a try but throw yr $ 4 rojak
No exactly d same s d original chendol in Penang... but blh la. They shld open at a bigger place wz more tables & seats.
Prawn noodles set is rm12.90 with lime juice . The soup is slightly salty. Overall the taste is ok.
Rojak , assam laksa & curry mee wayy too expensive for so little ingredients. Short curly hair in my rojak . Watered down assam laksa with miserable 3 kerang on top. Durian chendol was nice but exp..
Cendol is below par, plus it's expensive . Don't go for the cendol cempedak and durian . They're overly priced. Try the fruits Rojak , it's bloody flavorful! 👌
Such a disgrace to even has its name with Penang Road - what you get is definitely nothing close to original in penang .
When they serve your chendol ..only left half ice ..maybe they give less ice that's why melt so fast.no good
They serve nice cendol ! Worth trying ! :)
Asam laksa a bit too sweet for my liking. And by 7pm there's no more ice to make chendul or ais kacang???
Try the teochew kuang jiang. Very nice fried stuff.
Diluted cendol , guess you are lucky even u get a sugar taste water, cendol n red beans are swimming freely with no congestion in it. Penang Road ? Definitely no where near
The cendol is a disappointment. So different from the original push cart in Pg. a little pricy (rm4.90 for original) I think the cendol van at sec17 is better
4get abt eating here, d prices hd gone up yet d ingredients hd gone down! Somore twice i hd seen cockroaches on d tables. D foreign workers hv no sense of hygience. U complain they gossip behind ur bk
Cendol 's quantity is decease if you come late night and serve slower compare to last time.
Chendul taste wierd and the laksa also taste different
Chendul: something is missing maybe the santan but the taste is still there. Assam Laksa : approved but lack of spiciness . -Penang Kia Food Critique-
0% for Assam laksa , run out of laksa noodle is ridiculous. Does not live up the name of Penang Road , diluted soup with sugar added in. Even by Klang Valley standard u could get better in other places.
Same quality but KL price! Limited table cause long waiting of table! Overall is good!
Huge bowl at 4.90...best to share between two ppl. Just average. Ice isn't even finely shaved, resulting in big chunks that can't melt.
I can't see any durian in my durian chendul, only a very very light durian taste in it!
2nd try: Asam Laksa , Popiah and Rojak were all dissapointing. What could be worse? No ice for their flagship Cendol at noon! This may be our last visit.
Damn crowded ... The abc is nothing to shout about .. Just go for the chendol and Assam laksa
I always look forward to have my lunch here. Unfortunately, things change. Prawns that were served in curry laksa were not fresh at all! Chendol not freshly made !! And cashier is so arrogant!!
9pm they start to close. And turn off every new customers. Is this how things work ? Penang chendul and all the staffs were lansi foreigners
Not that great for RM4.90. Rather eat the roadside one. Dun taste the sweetness of the gula melaka and not sure if it is coconut milk . Taste more like evaporated milk
place does not observe mall opening hours, and arrogant enough to act as if it's my fault I don't know this.
Yummy chendol and fruit rojak 👍
good chendol and curry laksa !
We were served cendol with no cendol in it, and the staff did not even bother to tell us about it (they ran out of cendol ). Staff looked like they were high on something or half asleep. BAD
Cendol doesn't taste like original one in Penang, & portion is pathetically small for the red beans and cendol .
So many people and long queue
Don't order their drinks is a scam here
So far ok but I'm sure original frm penang sure better
Mildest curry mee ever tried, but tastes not bad. Portion a bit small though.
Just order their chendol . The rest all fail. Laksa is too spicy with no laksa taste at all while the guang chiang is overfry.
I had food poisoning from their cendol & curry mee ..look closely at how gross their workers handle food without gloves/face masks..& wipe their sweat & all - seriously NOT kidding!
Laksa tasted very bland, fooled by the smell when we walked by the restaurant . Food truck cendol is nicer than what is served here.
