I'm Deffo old school Stamford and remember this place before it closed down. Now very different although still has an edge. Always packed and has a great atmos on a sat night with the band playing .
Great value and tasting food! Only problem, they have Daddies rather than HP Brown Sauce

Food is reasonable and decent! Always lively on a Saturday night and usually a band playing

It's a lovely place to go and chill in a booth with a gin and tonic and an all-day brunch. Although I've disagreed with some things in the past, I still enjoy it there! - Jamie Holmes
Lovely pub! The stairs are great along with the exposed beams they add so much character. The pub has some great seating areas. I've not tried the food yet. Drinks can be a bit pricey! - Adam Batchelor
