Banksys piece was recently doused in red paint. You can now see some little red specks still there behind the plexiglass

Rick Howard

Thieves recently attempted to remove this piece. It is currently boarded over and watched by police and/or private security (02/23/2014)

Banksy's 2008 piece will be removed in April 2024 for preservation while the building, long ago a drop-in center for teenage runaways, undergoes major renovations

So good they tried to steal it by using a jackhammer to take the whole wall away.

This has almost completely been destroyed by vandals and graffiti , to the point that you can no longer see it really. If you are making a special trip to see her don't bother. So sad .

Craig Olson

Some jackass graphed over the plastic that now protects it. Still cool but not really photograph-worthy. Hopefully they change the plastic.
