Although we had no reservation (and they were very busy) they did make space for us. The owner and staff are extremely friendly , the food delicious! Try the beef stew (or the paprika pancakes for app)

Had the chicken crepe with paprika and then Goulash soup and they are both delicious! It was my first time eating hungarian food but it felt as if it was my grandma's food! The staff is also very nice

If you are hungry this is a good place to visit. The food is good and the stuff is super friendly . I recommend: Feel the hungarian taste and the restaurant menu(goulash soup , duck and an apple cake ).

We had a wonderful experience at this family restaurant . The fried dough with cheese & garlic sour cream was amazing, & apple pie , oh my!! Beautiful music on a traditional cimbalom , and great service.

Be sure it's the best restaurant in Budapest !!! Goulash soup & Duck are amazing, same is pork slices with garlic potatoes ! Save a little place for chocolate cake also. Absolutely recommend this place!

Local homecooked food in reasonable prices! The gitls there are cute and polite! Tends to be very buzy! Book a table better! We managed to squiz without reservation and eat in a hurry! All delicious!

The service was unbelievable good, it felt so cozy . The food was great, they gave us a small bread on the house which was amazing. We tried pork with potatos , Chicken crepe and wines .

The staff are incredibly helpful and will even show you pictures of the plated food to help you decide. We also loved the atmosphere + playing classic romantic tunes on the traditional cimbalom .

Great atmosphere, service & food! Start with a garlic sour cream bread amuse bouche . Get the fried bread app, pork tenderloin & beef stew with dumplings ! & say yes to the palinka shot at the end! mmm!

Goulash is amazing, as is service. And you get a shot of Palinka as digestive as a compliment. Prices totally reasonable. Highly recommended!

One of the few Hungarian restaurants that pay attention to service and customer satisfaction! Few dishes but really tasty. Change of menu 2 times a year, would avoid getting bored after 3rd visit.

It was the best restaurant in Budapest . Every dish was Hungarian, made with excellent ingredients and you can see each one on the tablet they provide you before ordering. They won't dissapoint you.
