Taqueria el Poblano

We have eaten Taqueria el Poblano Restaurant several times and it just seems to be a gamble if our food will be good anymore. They have Nice place and beautiful view .

Had the salmon fish tacos and my daughter had a shredded beef taco , both were excellent. The salsa for the chips was the best ever. Lunch with soft drinks & tip was $36, pricey but it is Alexandria.

I like the original the best. Quality tacos but I'm and enchilada guy and these are on point.

The tostada is Huge. Plenty of meat and bean and the avocado sauce adds just the right touch of seasoning. No extra salsa needed to spice up this dish.

The chile brazed beef burritos are excellent. The limeade is also excellent. It's sour, and you sweeten it to taste.

Beef Tacos Dorados (LA Style Crispy Tacos ) are real bomb. Best I’ve had on this coast.

Great spot for California-style Mexican food . And charming Del Ray is perfect for a post-meal stroll.

The Magaritas, as you might expect, are to die for. Get the taco specials and you won't be disappointed!

I came here the other day with my sister and her girlfriend. The chicken tacos were so fresh and delicious, as was the guacamole .

The lime-marinated steak tacos al cabron were amazing. The shrimp was prepared well in the shrimp tacos , but the taco as a whole was just okay.

There aren't many tables so a wait (5-15 minutes) isn't out of the possible on popular nights. The wait is well worth it!

Always check the specials. The chicken and mango tamales on special were outstanding.
