Café Gratitude

This place is as obnoxiously I'm-a-hipster-vegan-free-spirit-and-my-parents-were-at-woodstock-hey-man-pass-the-gluten-free-blunt as restaurants come. But the food is great (and healthy too).

I got the I am pure salad and the cafe mocha drink both were very good. I would suggest taking out the agave though from the mocha it made it too sweet and gave the chocolate a weird taste.

I was totally blown away by this place. I am not a vegan or even a vegetarian , but I LOVED my food here. So flavorful and fresh and delicious. I ordered the black bean tacos .

This place is amazing! The vibe and the flavors. I’m grateful for this a vegan restaurant of this caliber in Kansas City! It gets a bit busy around lunch , and the prices are affordable .

Literally, everything on the menu sounded incredible. My daughter and I got Warm-Hearted and Humble and had to switch plates because they were so delicious! MUST TRY THEM OUT IF YOU'RE IN KC!

Terrific, Grounded, and Present are absolutely amazing if you're looking to share between 3 people; I also had the Elevated juice and everything was great; only tip is make sure you stir the Terrific!

The food here is amazing. Come with a friend so you can enjoy good company while you wait. The staff here are all very good and they put in a lot of work to pull off such interesting dishes.

Food over all is amazing. Today, I had their special "I am marvelous," which was an enchilada with black beans and rice . I was delicious!

I am sensational truly is: "Creamy" Alfredo pasta with spaghetti squash "noodles " and Portobello mushrooms . Healthy comfort food !

Everything is vegan and organic , and delicious too! It was so hard to choose from the menu!!

The I am Bonita is excellent. And Brian loved his Extraordinary sandwich . Neither of us are exclusively vegan , but keep coming back, cause we've loved everything we've tried!

First time there I ordered the bagel that was on the menu it was not what I had expected. A visual reference would have help with it. I will be back again to try the soups , those did look really good.

If you sit by the front window you can watch the sun set over one of the coolest places in the city . And get the lasagna !

Great vegan and vegetarian options . The bowls are packed full of nutritious and fresh ingredients ! Definitely try the coffees and smoothies .

Chocolate hazelnut cake . And the black tea with coconut milk . Trust me, just do it. Expensive but worth it

Truly excellent vegan restaurant in KC. I got the Dynamic and the Warm-hearted and they were both really delicious.

GREAT place. Had the veggie burger . Welcome surprise. First time at vegetarian/vegan restaurant . Thought I'd never eat at one. Mind changed!

The "I Am Humble " is way tastier than its name suggests, but my fave so far is the "I Am Whole" - yum! The kimchi could definitely be spicier, but it's tasty.

Great innovative salads , rice bowls , smoothies and shakes with a welcoming funky vibe. I'd definitely return!

Get the community supported grain bowl: quinoa , kale & black beans . Donate $2 or $20, it's your choice. Minimum donation is $2.

Has the lasagna . Very good! Also, the delicious cheesecake ...you must eat it.

Be prepared for high-quality, interesting food, and a friendly , but eerily cult-like ambiance... If you can get past the "I Am Creepy" shtick, you will probably love the food (and juice !)

Amazing menu of vegan entrees and sustainable foods. Only downfall is slow service. Pretty sure everyone here is stoned :D.

This cake . Do it. Ordering dessert after dinner would be SO expensive - worth a trip just for this!

I thought it was somewhat overpriced on it's menu. I thought the deserts for $7.50 for a small slice of cake were extremely overpriced. The deserts did not have much depth or flavor.
