22 January: A perfect little pub , rebuilt in 1913, its exterior notable for its English-bond brickwork & glazed earthenware tiles. Run by the Fitzpatrick family for three generations (over 50 years).
Nice to find a pub that is still a pub - this place has stood still in time. Good beer & friendly staff / locals. Tucked away in a backstreet near Southwark Bridge Road
This was my local work pub in the 70s and 80s and it was brilliant then. Been in a few times since and it's still a brilliant 'local ' pub long may it prosper
Nice pub , with that classic vintage London pub look. Friendly staff and a really good range of beers .
A great London local devoid of tourists serving good ale in unspoilt 60's surroundings.

Vintage pub on a council estate. Can't go wrong
I would to retract my tip about the landlord...he's a sweet lovely man. Beer please Martin!
We've just decided to start an award for the pub that looks most like it comes from a 1960's soap opera. This place wins.
