I adore this place. Try the black pasta with sautéed calamari and garlic or the fra diavolo. Come with an empty stomach and don't arrange anything for after.

CASH ONLY and will only seat parties when the entire party is available (seats 20 only). The Fra Diavlo is awesome as is the Squid ink Aligo Oglio. You will not be disappointed with either choices.

During the weekday, getting here before 5:30 will be fine for a party of 2. Party of 4 will depend on your luck. We didn't have to wait but it's worth a 2 hour wait! Clams w linguine and black ink FTW

I had the black pasta with alfredo , which was one of the best alfredo sauces I've had since they use a healthy amount of romano cheese . I recommend adding scallops or some other protein to the dish.

Very good, white sauce and clams , shrimp pomodoro sauce, putanescasayce in black pasta . All three amazing!!!!

My favorite place in the North End. Shrimp linguine with red sauce is my preferred dish, here. Big succulent shrimp , perfectly cooked al dente pasta , topped with a great flavorful marinara .

Come on weekdays for an early dinner or very late lunch , and you won't have to wait. Service is a bit gruff, but it only adds to the restaurant 's hole-in-the-wall charm. Amazing food!

Excellent calamari options! I’ve tried the Calamari Platter, which includes fish , calamari meatball and fries !

Calamari is great, ask for red sauce in the side. Squid ink pasta and chopped clam linguini is the best. Service is very friendly . It is cash only !

Had the fired calamari and our party had 3 types of pasta , putanesca, Alfredo and the shrimp and calamari , they were all great.

Tiny place, delicious food. Had the monkfish and salad . Nice tô be able to see the chef working his magik by your side.

<3 the monkfish marsala and the seared tuna . Order the calamari scampi , and use the bread to sop up the delectable juice . Also, Max was a wonderful host, waiter , and all around nice guy.

The aglio olio is amazing, along with the calamari ! Good sized portions and great prices. Lobster fra diavolo is amaZing as well , enough for 2 people.

Park at the Parcel 7 garage at Hanover & Surface. 5 mins walk and 3 hours validated parking for $1!! Don't go above 3 hours though. And get the black ink pasta w/ aglio olio YUM.
