I know everyone says it, but the pork buns are out of this world. I don't even like pork & I love them. Noodle #1 is a really good dish too. My favorite Thai in Pittsburgh.
the place is friendly and the food is delicious. i love the atmosphere. their drinks are delicious. me and the family try to come at least twice a month. the boat noodles is the best
Love Boat - Thai boat noodles ! almost-authentic thick and rich beef broth , but the flat noodles are a bit papery... spice level #1-5 : 5 is not spicy at all! Thai customers - you should BYO พริกป่น :)
Everything is so good, I dream of this place. Pork buns , street noodle #1, pad see yew. Spicy ! ???? Often a wait, cash only .
Great experience at Noodlehead. The pork buns were really something special; I can't get them out of my head. The spice level is not all that spicy in my opinion, so be adventurous.
The pork buns are fantastic! The love boat has a great broth and the noodle 1 with chicken is pretty good. All of this is great for 2 ppl and so cheap !!
I really enjoyed street noodle number 1 at level 5 spiciness . A bit more than I'd like to pay ($9) but I'd come again.
I liked hang out with friends here. Thank. Good times with people now. Good. We bring drinks also and as well as food! There are things that make food so much for eating then. This place is relevant.
The pork buns are a must! I also recommend the pad see ew with tofu . Love that the portions are big enough to have leftovers the next day!
Def a new taste nice vibe lively apps are solid can't go wrong with the Thai chicken or springrolls
Remember this place is cash only . There's an ATM but you'll get charged a fee. Other than that, I've not had a bad thing on the menu. The pork dumplings are awesome.
Some of the best Thai food in the city ! Cash only so come prepared for that. The pork buns and street noodle #1 were both flavorful, and delicious.
Caution with the spice count ! The chili (in the Street Noodle #2 at least) has a wonderful, unusual smokey flavor . The battered shrimp are sublime little mouthfuls, light but satisfying.
I got the steamed pork dumplings and see yew. Both were incredible, but fair warning - the dumplings were rather small. If you want to get them to share, I would get a couple of orders
Excellent noodles . Loaded with flavor even if you don’t order spicy noodles . Cash only !!
Every time I go I get the Chiang Mai Curry or Kee Mao...both are delicious. Keep in mind it is cash only !
Pad Thai was outstanding! Best in town plus it's gluten free .
Some of the spiciest food in pgh if you ask for it. You can also BYOB
We had the pad Thai and the see yew. Both are amazing. The spiciness is 1 to 5... I got 3. It's nicely spicy .
Chiang Mai curry noodles were amazing. They make some of the best sauces I've tasted.
Chiang Mai is great. You can get it vegetarian with tofu !
The food is good. The service leaves room for improvement. I almost chocked on level 4 heat while waiting 10 minutes for water!
Reasonable prices and a solid menu. I loved the street noodles 2. Cash only !
Nice and simple meal. Authentic Thai food .
Fact, Clark W. NOT Chinese. More like Thai. Looooving the BYOB & the small menu. Very attractive decor inside. This is a great addition to Shadyside/East Liberty!
Lots of the menu can be made vegetarian or vegan on request. It's BYOB , stop by Mad Mex for a bottle or six pack.
Everything. Just try everything. Portions are huge, expect to bring half home.
Everything I have tried is very good. Get 2 spice it's enough for me!
The spiciness ratings may seem scary, but any fan of spicy noodles can handle a 4 or 5 (out of 5). GO FOR IT
Great noodles for a reasonable price!
Be careful with the spice meter. I can tolerate spicy-spicy food, and number 3 was making me teary-eyed! But it was oh-so-good!!
Get the pork buns . You won't regret it. I'd take a picture but I already ate them...nom nom nom.
I wouldn't come here for "authentic " Asian food , but it's definitely a great spot for a cheap and fun substitution.
Gotta get the pork buns ! The rest of their menu is okay, definitely over hyped. It's also cash only .
The street noodle #1 is great. This place had no phone so you have to stop in for take out .
Wasn't expecting to like it, but I loved it! Sukothai with tofu at spice level 3.
Had the lvl 3 street noodle #1, I feel like it was the perfect combo of heat and flavor.
The curry dish is awesome! Got the spice at a 3 and it opened the sinuses up perfectly.
Even the #1 "little bit spicy " level was too much for me. Its possible they made a mistake it are used to putting in lots of chilli .
The beef soup is great!!! Love that you can pick how much spice you want.
The beef noodle soup is not authentic , it's made with tough cubed beef , not sliced beef . Also made with loads of chilli at its lowest heat level.
Try the pork bun and pai Thai noodles , delicious! Byo
Love boat ! Watch out the spiciness . 3 is *very* hot.
Only 50 cent BYOB . Great place for anyone who likes spicy Thai food .
Cash only . BYOB . No phone number (so as to avoid an onslaught of takeout orders). Don't let that dissuade you.
Go with what they recommend. Absolutely yummy!!
Green curry is solid
They don't give an F (and they don't need to)
street noodles . cash only . will only seat full parties.
So affordable ! But be careful the spice levels are pretty spicy
A very small and super casual joint. Serves great pho, fantastic tofu and summer rolls. - Zara Khan
They have many flavors and the waffle cone is the best... they put a marshmallow at the bottom! Banana foster is one of the best - Gama Martínez
Keep it light and fresh with Grilled Fish Tacos with avacado, spicy cabbage slaw, and avocado-tomatillo salsa - Mad Mex Shadyside
