Great food, great outside deck to eat on! Inside is quite beautiful, but if you are looking for atmosphere nothing beats eating right on the water. Go outside enjoy the crashing waves while eating.

About 30 minutes from East Hampton- Montauk is well-worth the trip. After enjoying fresh from the sea lobsters , and views from the peaceful dock at Gosman's Restaurant.

Been reading all the recent negativity but can honestly say that over the last two nights the food and service has been excellent. The swordfish tonight and the lobster last night were exceptional

No trip to Montauk is complete w/o a visit to Gosmans . The broiled lobster , swordfish , fried clams , and NE chowder were delish. Prices higher, portions smaller than other years.

These people are nutts! I got a belly full of sea creatures and beer , and the service was fanfriggentastic! Come out and experience it for yourself, you won't be disappointed....

Food was delicious (swordfish steak and scallops were so good) and scenery is great. Ask for a table outside !

Great view , stellar sunsets , and a 1 1/2 lb Lobster worth the wait. Service is okay but hey, you're on vacation. Order a drink and kick back with some fried calamari , they're incredible.

Great lobster rolls and seafood ! Always celebrate my father's birthday here, watching the boats come in and out of the harbor

Good was Delicious but very pricey . The service was a little slow but when our server finally came over, she was very sweet and took great care of us.

Don't leave with out getting the seasonal local pie and ice cream ! I had the Peach Raspberry and it was delicious!

There is no public wifi and cell service is abysmal. Aesthetically it’s a nice place but I guess they missed the memo about internet access being both a human right and a minimal standard of living

Gosman 's is a venerable restaurant . Over the past two years the menu has lightened up. Most of the fish dishes are served over cous-cous or tabbouleh rather than corn on the cob and French fries

Great place to have a good seafood meal and walk around the shops afterwards. Be sure to find your way over to Ben & Jerry's for that late night treat!

Love the location but the fish & chips not so great: razor-thin fillet with bogus cornmeal crust NOT beer-battered as it should be. Going to try lobster roll next time.

While the food isn't anything to write home about, it's a fun place to hang out with friends, watch the boats come in and leave, and enjoy the sunset .

Perfect spot for raw oysters , a cocktail and a gorgeous sunset over the harbor .

Clams Casino might as well been made with shoe leather as I eat clams all the time. (That's what he said. )

Gotta try the lobster roll . The best 17.95 I have spent in a long time.

Honestly - I never leave tips...but these folks are pretty rude & food is so-so. If I had to do it over, I'd go somewhere else. PASS.
