Chollas Lake Park

I’ve called this place The Duck Lake ever since I was a small child in the early 80s, but now I realize that the eucalyptus trees are the real stars. Also, the geese are fascinating mutant monsters.

Great place for a bike ride , run, walk or bring the kids there are three playground areas and work out stations around the lake .

Nice trail to walk, run take your dog. Feed the ducks and free fishing for kids.

Did you know? The reservoir was built in 1901 to provide water to early San Diego. Today it is a youth fishing area – kids 15 and under fish for free.

Easiest place to catch blue gills and crappies, though the signs say you have to be 15 years old or under!

Show your kids both playgrounds !

A quiet little oasis to come and relax on the weekend our maybe your lunch break. The ducks are rather amusing.

Needs more parking , and more concerned citizens picking up their own trash. Keep our parks in prime shape!

Watch out for Arrowhead, the biggest, loudest African gander. Talk to him and call his name or you might get bitten by him.
