Very nice authentic tapas bar . If you are situated at La Rambla. Go here and leave the other places that serves bad pizza , pasta , paella . This place has good food for sure
Delicious tapas , friendly (and funny) staff , something for everyone (fish , meat, veggies , ..., deserts ). Prices were fair (65€ for two people incl. various tapas and deserts ).
Such great atmosphere here. Good service and the staff are all so cheerful. Our plates are constantly changed out and the food is simply delicious!!
This took my by surprise! All dishes was razor sharp! Try Spicy Meatballs , Tuna Tartar and suckling pig . The service level was sky high and the atmosphere between the staff was great! A must!
All the food are amazing! We had the croquette , aubergine with honey , razor clams , iberico pork fillet with mashed potatoes and creme brûlée . And the beer is a 'must try' too!
Everything we got was good but the cannelloni totally blew me away and the lobster croquettes were the best ones of many I had on my trip through Catalunya. Book or be prepared to wait for a bar chair
Really energetic restaurant with bar seats right in front of the action in the kitchen (no separation at all) I love the gazpacho here even more than 7 portes !
Very cool place, and so close to la Rambla. Great food but even better is the show...waiters and cooks going back and forth and always joking with each other's and patrons. Great time and good food
Seafood paella is a must. We also tried the squid sandwich and it was amazing. From the desserts-the chocolate coulant-it’s like a souffle and tiramisu (it was available for the day only).
My experience of Spain is that unlike the U.K. the meat really has a flavour of the animal. Canete epitomises great flavour coupled with a very much buzzing atmosphere. Do try the Iberian pork .
Fabulous dinner experience with excellent tapas , lovely service and an amazing atmosphere. We tried almost all the tapas and everything was delicious. Stay at the bar to get the full atmosphere!
If you want to have a great food experience then come to this place. Try to find a spot in the bar where you interact directly with the kitchen and the waiters . Food is the best we had in Barcelona.
Best seafood I've ever eaten. Tried almost everything, except oysters . Every dish was brilliant, especially razor clams . Great choose of wine , each one was very tasty. Food is v. fresh, even alive ????
Everything is good and worth trying if you are unfamiliar with Spanish food , from fresh sea food and fish to meat, poultry and charcuterie . If you are in Barcelona don’t miss Cañete!
OMG! The beef steak w the foie gras may be the best thing I ve ever eaten in my life! Also exquisite clams , tuna tartar and lobster croquettes to die for!!
Lovely atmosphere and some of the best food I had in Barcelona. The vibe in the kitchen is electric and fascinating and creates a great atmosphere for those who dine at the bar .
Stumbled upon this place by accident and had the best meal of our trip. I had the tuna steak which was done perfectly and the wife had the oxtail which she enjoyed.
Buzzy, loud , and a mess. An open kitchen full of older chefs are like well oiled machine- quite wonderful to see it working. Get Octopus on olive oil , the spicy meat Bomba, and the fried artichokes .
Absolutely delicious pork special. Eggs with chorizo , lobster croquettes and artichokes were all great. Service friendly and staff were very obliging in speaking English. Would recommend.
From the outside it doesn't look like much but when you walk in it's a lovely Tapas bar . Sit at the bar ! Food is divine! Bit pricey but worth it & they're open between 3 & 7pm when no one else is
Try the deboned is tail - try that last since it is a bit heavy. Go with the seafood first like the razor clams , hake fish , tuna tartar , You can go for the steak with foie gras . So good.
One of the best places for tapas and Spanish cusine in Barcelona. Finest tapas , not greasy. Try Ortiguillas (sea anemones), crab croquettes and tocinillo (a kind of custard ) for desdert.
If you have not been here, you have not experienced the best of Barcelona! Try the anchoves and the Jamon . All tapas are great!
The most amazing food in all of Barcelona!! DO NOT MISS OUT! From the mouthwatering dishes to the charismatic chiefs, this is a place where you'll be dying to come back! 5 stars all the way ????????
Great atmosphere blending traditional with modern. The food was excellent- I’d recommend sharing everything to experience as many dishes as possible!!
The best tapas meal I had. Would recommend the barceloneta bomb, aged steak + foie gras , octopus . Their desserts were also amazing
Taste the canete style shirmp in garlic ! Fresh seafood and nice stuff. Special atmosphere and bar table which you can see the open kitchen .
All the things. Great fresh seafood options , friendly fast service . Spicy meatball was splendid. Would recommend. Not overly busy when we visited at 6.30 in the evening.
The atmosphere is amazing!! The staff is really professional, fun and friendly . The food is super good! It’s a little bit pricey but it’s totally worth it! <3
Absolutely delicious food. Get octopus , veal sweetbreads and torrija. Better to book or you’ll wait 1 hour.
You haven’t been to Barcelona if you car not eaten here! All tapas are great, try the anchovies and the Jamon
The food is simply amazing. Every dish tastes fantastic. However the confusion in the team and long waiting time even though we had booked table for early sitting almost ruined our night.
In evenings book a table. Went with a chef friend who fully approved. We shared at least 8 courses. A lovely evening.
The food was amazing :) I had a artichoke with some kind of mushroom as a starter and bella for the main course and a Tiramisu for the dessert 100%
Lovely food, timeless atmosphere. The Barcelona we love
Brilliant. A must-go!! Open kitchen , delicious food. Better to come before 9 otherwise high chance of queueing.
Amazing food with generous menu. Although tapas are good, main courses are stellar. Go for octopus .
All was amazing, especially the razor clams and the shrimp in garlic oil . Oh! And the lobster croquettes !
Tuna tartare and lobster croquette - OMG! Loved this place - the quality of the food is amazing. Paid 72 euro for 6 dishes to share and drinks.
#fuckyourdiet Tomato bread , ham , lobster croquette , paella of the day, Cuban chocolate stick, and ???? ???? ???? #blessed
Octopus , la bomba!!! Scallops , chorizo omelet , artichoke ... Everything we tastend was amazing!
Premium quality tapas but not suited for small budgets: 30€-60€... However solomillo con foie , gazpacho , fricandó de rap are excellent. More: http://savetheguiris.com/barcelona-map/bar-canete
Tartars are delicious, staff is super friendly . Seems closed on Sundays. It's better to reserve table for dinner .
Everythings are great. You must come here. Burratina with tomatoes and pesto is perfect...
Salmorejo with beetroot and pistachio , aubergine with honey are very good. Jamon croquettes were outstanding..
Everything was super!!
Wow. Just wow. Amazing service and stunning tapas . One of my favourite restaurants . Lobster Croquettes are a must!
Yumm! This is where the locals eat tapas - one wouldn't even expect such a sweet stylish hidden gem here. The raw tuna is excellent, the cooked mussels , the gazpacho and the oxtail in red wine a must.
Great Service, fantastic food - a little pricey but worth it ????✌️ 9/10
The best meal we had on our trip. The octopus and the bomba are a must
Amazing food, great service. Don't miss the croquetas and eggplant if they have it! - Amy Lewis
Beauty place, amazing people and dog friendly restaurant/bar. One of the best places I've been in Barcelona. - vonkinder
Try the Sake oysters, the mini Thai navajas (razor-shells) and the monkfish liver. I suggest ordering one of the 2 menus de degustación or a la carte, but not the menu del día. Enjoy! - Lars Stalling
At markets across the city, families are preparing for the Castanyada - a Catalan tradition held on All Saints Day. The highlight is a meal of roasted chestnuts, sweet potatoes, fruits and cakes! - Oh-Barcelona.com
Really beautiful for a long walk, lots of food options, shopping options, and so many sights just steps off the main road. Head there and branch out! - Kenny
Relax with a drink or meal and watch the world go past. Lovely square with atmosphere - Graham Wright
