A Brooklyn-Brazilian mix with a juicy beef served in a toasty pao de queijo bun and topped with cilantro pesto onion sauce. Sweet potato fries and a spicy sauce on the side.

Chloe Heath

Everything on this menu is amazing. Actually everything about this place is amazing - drinks, space, food. Love the duck tacos and mezcal margaritas

KE

Ambiance, outdoor seating option, for lunch get the shrimp tacos & chicken quinoa bowl . Ask for coffee ice cream for dessert . Service was great. They have outlets and a beautiful space for working. ????

Sheen

eggplant & farro and mac & cheese are both amazing, veggie poblano pasta is skippable, delicata squash and cheese bread are great; pink drink is the best, the cucumber tequila one is okay-ish

Alex Heath

Everything. The steak : amazing. The drinks: on point. The vibe: unbeatable. If the weather is nice ask to sit on the patio - it's the best in the neighborhood .

Bin Yang

Latin American influenced but think of it as your go-to neighborhood steak joint. Get the eggplants to start, then the steak (rare for hanger, medium rare for skirt ) and share the Mac n cheese .

Aline Velter

Cute and cozy place in Fort Greene, everything is delicious here. Last time I got the golden fish and it was the perfection specially with the orange wine and the carrots side to complete the meal.

Gothamist

Those who prefer their beef ground can opt for the pao de quiejo burger , served in a toasty bun and topped with a zesty onion and cilantro pesto like the one you'd be dipping your steak into. Read more

You can’t go wrong here, but my favorites are: the CV Burger (top 5 in NYC), the chilaquiles , and the shrimp tacos . Wash them down at brunch with a La Picosa owhile soaking up the sun in the garden .

Stina P.

local fort greene spot. everything is delicious. the octopus and sweet potato fries are a must. grab a seat at the bar or a table on saturday and feel like you're in a latin american country house

Gregory Fisher

I seem to be disagreeing with everyone, but beyond loving the space, nearly all the food at dinner was disappointing: burger , pichana steak , and brussels. Carnitas tacos and churros were pretty good.

Marissa Sutherland

great cozy tapas mixed cuisine dinner . would love to come back and try more with a larger group. loved the eggplant mole &ceviche . would skip having the pork belly and mushroom arepas again.

Village Voice

Try the Chef 's Steak -it hits the table with an expertly charred crust, the interior marbled & juicy. Served with a smoky salsa verde and caramelized onion-spiked mashed sweet potatoes . Read more

Beautiful back garden , friendly service and well procured wine list . Duck Confit Tacos were brimming with flavour. The steaks simply did not cut it, not seasoned well enough nor tenderised.

Thrillist

CV is dishing out awesomely meaty goodness, like a buttermilk-soaked fried chicken rubbed in chiles and served with chipotle honey , and a coffee-rubbed pork shoulder . Read more

desavoia

Great outdoor seating , highly recommend the grilled arepas , langostine and shaved brussels sprouts cesar salad for appetizer – you can’t go wrong with the  wood fire grilled chef’s steak

Ruby Anaya

As someone who loves bone marrow , the new menu item was not my fave. Too smokey. Really love the clams tho.

Nate Folkert

great backyard for when the weather is nice, and a glass enclosed patio for the feeling of outdoor dining when the weather isn't so nice

Emily Wilson

Cozy vibe, esp. on a cold night in the back room. Steaks are affordable and tasty. Get an order of roasted mushrooms to go with yours.

Kenneth Jansson

Was here for brunch . Quinua cake with poached eggs were great. They serve coffee from La Colombe and next time I'm having the chipotle infused vodka made Bloody Mary .

Kaisa Hernberg

Stylishly cozy , the greenhouse is lovely on a summer evening. Excellent food - we loved the grilled baby aubergine and Brooklyn mess dessert .

Carly Dahl

Chicken & cilantro rice deeply satisfying. Great wine list w/ all female winemakers. Service stilted & inattentive - we had to flag someone down literally every time we needed something.

Dan

Octopus and duck confit tacos were pretty good, the hanger steak was excellent, and the chicken was solid. Wine by the glass was great as well

Santi Amaya

Get the grilled chicken or the steak . Perfectly cooked. Try the Chili Wili cocktail if you want a good cocktail with an interesting spicy kick to it

The Scotch eggs are tiny masterpieces — hardboiled eggs wrapped in sausage and topped with blistered kernels of grilled Mexican-style corn . Read more

Andrew Wingert

Hanger steak was delicious with the side of mac and cheese . Atmosphere in the evening is very relaxed.

Erica Corlito

Everythig was delicious. Steak , Brussels sprouts ceaser salad , ceviche , horchata . Place is really beautiful. However, service was sub par. Still well worth a trip!

Celestine Maddy

Incredible back yard . Asado on Sundays. Best wine list in the neighborhood .

Rebecca Chadwick

Lots of amazing steak on the menu, but if red meat isn't your thing, try a few different appetizers and you'll be happy.

Vince C.

Definitely treat yourself to the roast chicken & duck confit tacos . Finish it off with a side of the green beans - they were surprising!

Marianna Fierro

Really enjoyed all the eggplant dishes ! Octopus and burger were tasty as well .

Danielle Brizel

Amazing courtyard in the back. The burger is very unique with a bun made from yuca & cheese . Surprisingly great!

Ohilikechickn .

Good food overall. Nice and quiet place for a date; however, lighting is too dark for my taste + the service could be better. Try the picanha and the esquite salad ????????

Sheen

golden tilefish and grilled baby eggplant with cauliflower were both great but the mac and cheese is truly the star ????

Phil Katz

Fantastic weekend brunch . Make sure to order the "gringo churros " (i.e. Sugar donuts with chocolate sauce)

Robb Ferris

Went for the CV burger and a michelada for brunch ...so good. If that doesn’t fix your hangover you were beyond saving

Patrick Biesemans

Sit in the back. The horchata rum is amaze. Helen, usually behind the bar , is super sweet!

Nash Pleasant

Fanastic brunch as well . The steak and eggs were simple, but superb.

Nate Folkert

chef 's steak with salsa and mashed sweet potatoes and avocados - low carb , high protein - $32

Annie Ly

great outdoor seating in the back. get the café con tres leches for dessert . you're welcome.

Nate Folkert

they stowed the old liquor sign that fell off the front of the building out back above the wood pile

Sean Daly

A surprisingly fantastic bolognese . Also make sure to get the pao du queijo appetizer

Emily Heyward

Steak is outrageously good. Awesome cocktails , great space, great staff and music . Lamb sliders are overrated.

Holly Britton

Try to sit in the backyard (weather permitting) and order the burger ! Cocktails are scrumptious too.

aneessa steilen

Duck confit tacos are a must. Big portions , plan on sharing because everything is so tasty.

Luke

Takes on Latin American favs tailored to the tastes of the neighborhood . The more straightforward the dish, the better here

Sue Lee

You have to get the octopus and the eggplant fundido .

Maricruz Smith

Soooo gooood !!! Esquites, tostadas , tacos and the best octopus

A T

Dopest spot in the hood! The shrimp tacos and the El Mezcalero are a must ????????????
