Rojak . Find it tucked in the corner, beside the drinks stall . Fresh ingredients are a given. He raised the bar by using hei gor (prawn paste ) from Penang! And each yutiao is individually toasted!
Fried kway teow (flat rice noodles ). Strong 'wok hei' (smokiness), generous vege & 'taugeh' (bean sprouts ). Not wet enough. Missing 'la pok' (fried pork lard cubes)
Tried the hokkien mee today. Took away for 2 persons but the portion was like for 1.2 persons only. Just realised the past tips were posted 3 years back. Wonder if the stall is still the same one.
Fried Hokkien noodles . For $3.50 (smallest serving) you get 2 average-sized prawns . The dish is not the wet style. It also lacks the seafood fragrance typically imbued in such dishes

Fish soup is cheap and delicious! The uncle always works alone so please be patient with him when it's busy.
