Great beach if you want to escape the tourist crowds. A lot less busy than Venice Beach to the North. But the people watching isn't as good!
Was doing a beach cleanup here today???? Tons of styrofoam, cigarette butts, clothing , plastics like straws and Starbucks cups discarded and entangled in seaweed ???? Clean up after yourselves people! Ugh.
A great beach in LA because its big - just about a mile long from the Washington pier to the jetty - wide, fairly clean , has parking & bathrooms , and most of all - it is rarely crowded .
If you fight the current, you’re going to lose. But if you go with the flow and then work your way slowly out of it, you’ll be fine. This is applicable off the beach , also.
Small beach that’s so peaceful in the morning. Parking is easy. Picnic tables make it nice to have parties there, but it does get busy on the weekends so you’ll have to get there early.
Was here for a job and even though I didnt go to the beach , i could tell out in the balcony that it was calm and a great place to be.
Great serene beach . Right next to Venice but very quiet , clean and beautiful beach . Park along the houses.
Check out the pier all the way south. Locals walk and hang out there, and no pesky fishermen like at the venice pier to the north. Hang out and watch the boats sail out of the marina !
Nice quiet beach and only steps from the Venice boardwalk . Better to park at the end of Washington by the pier to avoid the crowd at Venice. Also near Abbot Kinney
Its a nice beach ...less crowded . Away from the tourists in Santa Monica . Great for a quiet day in the sun.
Right at the edge of the Venice Boardwalk and lots of open, uncrowded beach .
Walk left when facing the pier and go until the crowds die down.....peaceful , quiet beach
Quiet well kept beach . I love it here.
Always empty, clean , serene, beautiful and quiet . Free street parking . Very close to Venice beach .
The nicest beach in LA . Quieter then venice and more secluded than Santa Monica
It's always empty and gorgeous! Go there on a Monday and it will be only you and the ocean!
Get a room facing the Marina and pool. Quality large modern rooms with good room service food. Nice place to situate yourself on the Cali Coast... You can explore Venice and Santa Monica easily
Was amazing. Clean , not crowded , and beautiful ????
It has a nice playground area for the kids.
Venice Beach ... Bring Your sunglasses, Coco Lotion,Swimming Shorts ,Surf Board And <3
Awesome beach , never crowded and super-fast WiFi for TWC customers!
Like any other California beach but not as crowded .
It's a beautiful beach with silky sands.
Great place to stay when visiting LA
I highly recommend the ocean. Defend. Protect. Conserve.
Closest bathroom is near the channel. Plan accordingly.
Great beach with a minimum of tourists . No shops or bathrooms , so be aware
If you find a Frankenweenie bag it's mine. Some seagulls hijacked it.
Less surf , more volleyball and bizbee tossing.
Shh,it’s our private beach ????
The nicest beach in LA
Impactante
Swim parallel to the beach to get out of a rip tide. Then swim to shore.
Like a private beach
Nice beach , I've been coming here for years.
Watch for dog poopies on the sand.
Beach is less busy than other local beaches. Restrooms are great (very rare for the beach). Paddle standup boarding and kayaking services are available. Beach volleyball facilities are available. - Jonathan MacLucas
Bathrooms seem to be nonexistent. But the beach is beautiful and peaceful. - Robin D
Watched a great sunset here. Cozy beach, not a lot of people on a Sat eve. - Wondering Feet
Tons of ways to enjoy the atmosphere. Nice beach, good surf, nice piers. Tons of shops, food, activities, rentals, and more. - Jason Shellhammer
Maybe the best place for a quick meal and cold drinks in the Venice Pier. Very nice view, delicious menu and it has a history. - Burak
