It's a great respite from the summer heat and it seems everyone else had the same idea. Crowded and chaotic w/a mix of unsteady beginners and speed demons. They take safety seriously w/helmets!
Parents want to get in will need visiting ticket, take another NT$50 :(

You can bike all the way from Xindian to Danshui here. Wide lanes for joggers, walkers and children. Also within the park there are tennis courts and baseball fields. Great spot for picnics! - Yone L
Lovely park, combining green open space for dogs, a large pond / nature reserve for bird watching, & a great kids playground / sand pit. Busy @ weekends, it is really popular with absolutely all ages. - Matt Ta-Min
