Vegetarian . Neighbours make a beeline to Tanglin Halt Ruyi Vegetarian #02-36. Honest tastes. Most items appear home-made. Fried bee hoon has good “wok hei” (smokiness). This plate $4.50
Wantan mee ($4). Sauce from Tian Xiang #02-41 is salty but chilli sauce made up for it. Noodles relatively ‘q’ (chewy). Served with 5 wantans (2 boiled, 3 fried). Could do with more vege

Massive playground next to hawker centre. There’s a fitness corner too. Benches come in useful on cooler days are they are not covered
Chicken chop fried rice ($6). Fried rice from Margaret Delight #02-37 was expertly prepared. Chicken chop was too salty for my liking though
Prawn noodles with pork ribs ($5.50). Very oily bowl when ordered dry from Soon Lee #02-32. They use frozen prawns , still plump after boiling. Soup had prawn essence but salty
