Always a blast to go through. If you have younger kids or just a short attention span skip the ocean area and keep walking till you reach the Cretaceous Creekbed.
Look for the gnome constellation in the 3rd TV/panel from the left at the start of the video at the enternace.
There were dragonflies the size of your head in Kansas approximately 395 million years ago!
Look for the gnome painted on the wall!

This is a great exhibit. However if you have a younger kid this probably isn't the exhibit for you. Take them to the Discovery Zone, Space Odyssey, or Prehistoric Journey which cater to kids. - Claire Luhman

The best place to go if you have kids under 2nd grade. The shows are fabulous, the activities at the are fun, the volunteers are super kind. If your kid wants to play in the water they need a smock. - Claire Luhman
