The best place to go if you have kids under 2nd grade. The shows are fabulous, the activities at the are fun, the volunteers are super kind. If your kid wants to play in the water they need a smock.
They should serve Starbucks right outside the Discovery Zone. All the parents look happy and exhausted. I'll take a double espresso !
There are a lot of things for kids of all ages here, but make sure you use hand sanitizer or wash your hands afterwards.
Stop here if you want your kids to sleep like rocks on the ride home.
Try the hand sanitizer . Best in town !!!
Flight of the Butterflies is amazing! - Brook Harned
Unexpected bargain for a large selection from fresh to fried. It is there. Soup was amazing. Beef and sweet potato stew. - Brad Ploof
A great place to go to relearn about space. I recommend this for younger kids from 2-9 or older adults just because of the activities and mass amounts of reading. Check out one of the computer - Claire Luhman
A great area for all ages. This is one of the most popular and time consuming exhibits as everyone tries to complete their peak pass. I recommend going first thing in the morning. - Claire Luhman
Fantastic gems. Good for all ages. The kids like to look at the colours. If your trying to make them learn try and send them on a scavenger hunt to find all the colours of the rainbow. - Claire Luhman
Beautiful views of City Park and Cityscape. New edition is stunning. IMAX is super and the museum itself never disappoints. - Andrea L
Always a blast to go through. If you have younger kids or just a short attention span skip the ocean area and keep walking till you reach the Cretaceous Creekbed. - Claire Luhman
This is a great exhibit. However if you have a younger kid this probably isn't the exhibit for you. Take them to the Discovery Zone, Space Odyssey, or Prehistoric Journey which cater to kids. - Claire Luhman
