Very soft carrot cake made in house. Deliciously fried. Both black and white versions are good. Big portions too. What more do you want?!
Biggest $3 serving I've ever had. Shiok ! & what a history! Check out Dr Leslie Tay's research abt d stall: http://ieatishootipost.sg/2010/02/bukit-merah-view-carrot-cake-last.html
Huge portion for $3. Comes on banana leaf and very tasty. Run by 3 pairs of brothers and wives - 1 steams the carrot cake , 1 runs the stall in the morning and 1 at night
Small ($3.50) black carrot cake with chili was decent, with some nice crispness. There could be a more intense umami taste & more preserved radish . It's not served on a banana leaf anymore.
Unit no changed to #01-37 after renovation. The carrot cake is indeed nice but it's very uneven after stir frying it with eggs & sauce. Best to eat without Chilli .
Homemade traditional carrot cake . Super soft !
Small portion for $4. Quality dropped.
Black or white? Both also delicious! Very generous with egg !
Standard dropped
