Lemon juice . Qing Tian Coffee Stall #01-43 serves this thirst-quenching drink with syrup . Nice on a hot day or with a spicy meal. $1.30

Chai tow kway (fried carrot cake , $3). Average serving from Li Shan #01-82. . Old-school untidy fry. Chilli unevenly fried into dish. Hawker sprays pepper at the end, so let her know otherwise

Chicken rice ($4). Pin Sheng #02-51 serves the real deal. Meat was juicy. Chicken skin was chewy. Rice fragrant. Chilli spicy . Served with a bowl of soup . Vege was an added order

Fried carrot cake . The base from Unforgettable Carrot Cake #01-30 was inconsistent & overly soft for me. Overall dish lacked aroma (probably due to vege oil). This plate $3.50 +50-cents for extra egg

Economy rice (chai png). Homestyle dishes from Traditional Curry Rice #01-60. Not overly oily. Curry gravy was thick & flavourful. Served with complimentary vege soup

Fishball noodles . This upsized bowl ($4.50) from Fishball Noodles #01-03. Tasty but oily preparation. Will have to ask elderly man to take it easy the next time

Curry chicken or fish . Na Na Curry #01-47 serves a delicious and really spicy bowl. Eat with rice or french loaf

If you like Fried Bee Hoon , try Yip Economical Bee Hoon at #01-33. They fry up a decent dish and serves it with the traditional chilli sauce not the nasi lemak type you find commonly in other places.

Handmade Tai Bao from the vendor in the Hawker Centre is good but unfortunately doesn't have ideal packing for takeaway in quality ???? BYO if you plan to takeaway ????

Fruit Juice stall #01-73 is very nice! Got plenty of variety and they even have an accumulative coupon card where you can get a free drink after 10 drinks.

The fish ball noodle stall at the corner is really good. Homemade fish balls received my two thumbs up!

Sliced fish soup ($5.70). Disappointed with serving from Spinach Soup #01-16. For that price, I found only 3 slices (not thick) of fish , for such a big serving bowl

Kaya roti : Heng Heng Coffee #01-23 may command a q in d mornings but after a bite, I was unimpressed by d thin spread of kaya , which also lacked any pandan fragrance. Half-boiled eggs were overcooked
