Phenomenal breakfast all around. Simple eggs made perfectly with delicious cheese and bacon . The sour dough bread is really wonderful and homemade . A non- touristy gem in a very convenient area.

If you have time, de Bakkerswinkel has another location right in Westerpark, which is a nice destination in itself; with bars and a great arty movie theater . Polonceau-Kade 1NL-1014

We love to come here for breakfast in the weekend. Nice atmosphere, yummie food and a play corner for the kids. Best come before 10am to get a seat

Good breakfast food and pastries (the sausage pastries and cheese croissants are exceptional). Be aware that it is cash-only, but it’s worth any hassle. Cute location too.

Very nice fullcorn bread , with creaspy crust, soft and light crumb ! Fair prices for bread and sweets ( croissant is very tasty too ! )

Good brunch ! I loved my scrambled eggs with bacon and you had to order the carrot cake . I recommand to go for five o'clock tea as well , they have amazing pastries .

The French toast was great and we took the beautiful looking apple pie and a scone to go! They have soya milk and are very flexible

Great place to have breakfast , especially if you are on your way to the central station. On top of all else their jams are remarkably good. Keep expectations low on coffee though.

Such a cozy place.The french toast is out of this world! The cheese sandwich I had was the simplest yet the most delicious. The prices are reasonable.

It's a very quaint, cozy & cute cafe . Tho prices were a bit high. I got the tea set : a scone with homemade jam & light clotted cream , small slice of cake & tea . Almost 8€! Sad my tea was weak.

Line is long for brunch on a Sunday morning, but the space is large and wait shouldn't be longer than 20 minutes. Get a sandwich . And a scone (lime mint !). And the fresh mint tea .
