This is some of the best pho in the east bay . Hearty, dependable, and friendly . Maybe more “familiar” than friendly . But still, relax and let the overstretched owner take care of things.

Favorite is the meal ball and rare steak on the side.

Order a side of rare beef to swish in the hot soup .

The Vietnamese crepe left much to be desired, was very greasy. The Pho was pretty good though, the broth was nice.

Get the table by the door. The breeze helps counter the lack of air conditioning
