The facilities have greatly improved since the recent multi-million pound renovation. One of the few gyms in the city centre to include a swimming pool
Nice gym , friendly staff . Massively busy between 6-7:30pm though. Best time to go for a 9-5 'er is before work, when the gym opens, but a 6:30am workout can be traumatic...
Beautiful historic 1920s pool with murals of people at the seaside and stained glass roof dome!
Super busy at 5, can be a challenge to get weights. Friendly staff and good facilities. Great place to train if you're serious about your gains!
Go on Thursday leave at 7-45 walk out of gym , take two rights, then watch open air movie in spinningfields with a coffee
If you're going on a spa day , take some lunch with you, or you can go to the supermarket across the road before you go. Bannatyne's do absolutely no food in there.
Avoid from 5pm all the meatheads arrive
Lots of space, not usually busy, nicely laid out. Pool! - Andrew L
Better to come during the week. Impossible to get a few lengths in the pool without some numpty getting in the way during the weekend! - Andrew Manwaring
The best weight machines... they have variety of sport sessions. - Mohammed Aljallal
One of the best Starbucks in Manchester City centre. Good for quiet catch up or working. Staff is lovely! - Julz Birdie
I know Tesco are evil corporate overlords, but sometimes you don't have time to visit the farmers market and you just want a butty to stop you passing out at your desk. And the staff are fab. - Alison Worsley
Plenty of shops and the market is great. The food bit if market is best place to go and fine good food and reasonable too - Rachel Clarke
