Great beach for young kids and babies, water is clean and calm allowing even infants in. Soft sand not rocky like the bay or the sound, and beautiful playground right on the beach ! Lifeguards on duty!
Perfect for kids with play area and easy waves. No rocks. Good snack bar , can finagle your way out of the 5 dollar fee by parking in the neighborhood across the street!

The beach is not an ashtray. Although this one sure looks like one. Really such a shame since the close proximity of the playground to water make it perfect for parents! :( The water is dirty too.

This used to be a great beach . Not sure what happened but the water is disgusting. I wouldn't let my dog go in it. Ok for just sunning and relaxing though.
