Awesome trail for running & biking . Lots of stopping points such as downtown Mtn View , Caltrain, and goes all the way up to google , moffett, and connects to Bay Trail to gets you into Palo Alto!
Hidden in plain sight, it's a joy to run, jog or just take a walk. It's beautiful in winter and autumn and squirrels greet you along the way.
Get the bike out early. Lotta traffic afternoons. Connect to the Bay trail to shoreline park . Head up the 101 frontage road north a bit to embarcadero road for some added distance. Great ride.
This trail is great for getting around Mountain View. Check out the Northside and you will get an awesome tour of Google !
Very busy but comfortable and beautiful trail .
Great new water fountain (dog/bottle fill/drinking combo) at La Avenida St entrance to the trail !
Well marked trails , paved and good bike access.
Better than biking along one of the major roads , I suppose, but the trail is hardly idyllic
This is a great trail connecting Apple to Google . Once you pass Google however, there are no pets allowed in Shoreline Park .
After dark, brace yourself and carry a flashlight :D
Try the off road sections towards the bay trail
Nice nature bike path
Trail has quite a bit of shade—great for my regular jogging
More of a path for commuting via bike , but the bridges are cool.
Do not run there after sunset . It is very dark and scary there
Attention birders! Keep your eyes open for pied-billed grebes, great blue herons, coots, and shovelers. Read more
