One of the best sandwiches in GR. I hesitate to write this review for fear everyone and their mother will spoil. 1) yes it's in the "hood" 2) service is slow but worth it and 3) only 8 seats.
Best authentic taqueria in town . Steak , pork , goat , cactus ... just amazing. Tip this family! The prices are low and they work hard serving perfect food. They also know how to package to go perfectly.
I'm from California and these are some of the best/juiciest steak tacos I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and get four.
Try the Al Pastor Gorditas . But get there early, there's only a small gordita window. Also, combination steak/chorizo taco with onion and cilantro is another reason this is the best Mexican in town
Very authentic al pastor , chorizo , lengua tacos , and pork tamales . I will be back to try more from the menu.
They serve authentic tacos and they were tasty. Tortillas were tender and fresh. However, both the meat and the sauce lacked flavour. Also, I wouldn't recommend their sandwich and tamales to anyone.
Second tip: I'm Kristin W's boyfriend and I will affirm that the Cactus taco is greasy...but unlike her, I loved it. I'd go back for it again in a heartbeat, personally!
The chorizo tacos are phenomenal. I can't stress enough how much you will love them. I about died of bliss.
Always get the tacos- all of them are great, the chicken , steak and el pastor are excellent!

Don't come if you are in a hurry. Service is extremely slow...I've been waiting 25 minutes for a simple 3 taco order. The place is highly popular.
Try as many different kinds of tacos as your stomach will allow you (the fish are my favorite) and sit at the picnic tables !
