Asha Tea House owner David Lau is serious about sourcing antioxidant rich matcha in both standard and ceremonial grades from family farms in Uji, Japan's premium growing region.

Most folks come here for the Boba but their loose leaf selection is incredible. Great fruit teas , the Pineapple Oolong is amazing. Try the Lapsang Souchong or High Mountain Dark Roast

Wilson Favre-Delerue

Loose leaves, milk and matcha bases and tisanes. Beautiful selection, Nordic/Japanese design aesthetic. Few seats but comfy . Not cheap and accepts Apple Pay, convenient when you forget your wallet.

Kendal Cockrel

Got the Chai Latte and it was fantastic. Great for something warm on a cool day.

Steven Wakuu

One of my favorite was spots in financial district! Delicious matcha and sweet boba ! Avoid going right after work ends. Long lines during rush hour.

Nico Pitney

Loved the iced blood orange tea , full of delicious pulp. Both the menu and atmosphere are a definite step up from your standard bubble tea spot.

Alicia Z

I'm a fan of the HK milk tea and blood orange oolong. Not overly sweet like Tpumps and better quality tea . I prefer the drinks/ambiance at the Berkeley location .

Maggie Sheldon

I love that Asha offers non-dairy options for their teas ! This is one of my favorite pearl milk tea spots. They have an Arnold Palmer equivalent that's very tasty, too. The line always moves quickly.

Tonie Wan

Love the matcha ???? latte ! My go-to in SF now.

T Z

wifi : darngoodtea

Tom Coates

High quality matcha drinks here among many others. The matcha macchiato is tasty, small and intense. I prefer the matcha at Stonemill in the mission but this place is still very good.

Bommy

Cozy space . Golden lily oolong tea on the artisan tea menu is smooth and soothing but so expensive at $6.50! Hawaiian butter mochi snack is $3.50.

Christine Chao

I love their matcha latte , that's my go-to. Ginger honey is also delicious, great on a cold day or when you feel you're catching a cold. Oh and their chai is good too!

Sharon Zhang

These guys knows how to make a cup of matcha , the tea house also has the gentle aroma of tea at all times.

Jaya Punetha

Ginger honey tea is just perfect! Pair with Matcha shortbread cookies

Ashley Mowrey

They have mocha muffins , which are ???????? delicious. The prices are reasonable and the drinks (especially the chai and matcha latte ) are ????????

Billy Leet

Their soft opening seems pretty solid to me! Awesome Hong Kong style milk tea , and really pleasant workers.

Will Curran

Matcha latte and HK Milk Tea were delicious! They sell all of their own loose leafs and have traditional teas too!

Stephanie Yeung

Unsweetened matcha latte with almond milk + Hawaiiian mochi is the perfect afternoon snack .

Venugopal Venkatraman

The tea is really good, and they are fast too despite the crowd. The chai tea is really good here.

Sasha Solomon

they have both quality teas and fun teas with toppings. Their matcha is the best!

Peggy Li

The ginger honey tea includes a decently-sized chunk of fresh ginger .

Ting S

Beautiful design again, I love this hidden tea-oasis in the center of the city .

Karina N

Wifi (as of August 2017): darngoodtea

Arthur Lee

matcha latte . it comes slightly sweetened by default

Marty Madrid

Try the Hong Kong Milk Tea , so good! Pro Tip: there are bathrooms , just way in the back behind the curtain.

A Chen

Hojicha latte's are the best here

Karen

Not your typical bubble tea place. The tea here is much more traditional, as expected from a Japanese teahouse.

Jordan Staniscia

The fruit tea here is legit fruit tea . Pulp and everything!

Aditi Luthra

Masala chai was ok, cold brew & Hong Kong iced coffee for coffee drinkers, cute ambiance, lots of options

Kseniya Makarova

Everything is delightfully crafted. Peach black tea + green tea cookie is a favorite

Paulina

Matcha latte with almond milk and boba . Sweet and bitter all at once.

Marc S

Check out the cool tea-related items for purchase.

Hojicha latte , warm toasty low-caff goodness

Rachel

Obsessed with the iced fruit teas ; kiwi green in particular is so refreshing.

Curtis Shoung

Hong Kong milk tea hot, low sugar. Good way to start the morning.

Margaret Ryan

the Matcha tea is a winner here. The only place I can find it downtown.

Al B.

Top notch green tea drinks here, tea or milk based.

Andrew Cech

The Hawaiian mochi muffins are gluten free and delicious

Kelvin Sarabia

You'll love the Hong Kong milk tea !

Paul Thomas

The Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba

Closes at 6pm on Saturdays, not your regular boba tea shop work hours so check the time before you go.

Marissa C

Good variety of teas from fruit to milk to traditional.

Ashley Alvarez

Great matcha lattes !

Ben Mackey

The mint tea here is pretty good. Ask for it hot.

Tom Lai

I like it and it is ????

Marian Carril

Great service, teas are awesome!

Pam ☕️ O

Come here if you are a big fan of matcha !
