Really friendly bar staff , quiet early Saturday afternoons but fills up quickly. Good place to work with a drink, plug points, free wifi , good wines & a regularly changing selection of guest ales .

If you like dudes in suits you will love this place. Standard pub fare . They serve beer , and everybody knows beer is the greatest thing on the planet. For that fact alone it's worth visiting.

My favourite from the new menu: spinach and ricotta strudel with citrusy salad . Light and refreshing!

Agreed, the cloudy cider and Timmy Taylors are good bets anytime but don't ignore the regularly changing guest ales . Yes, does get busy so clear the bar and join the masses outside on a sunny day ;-D

Glacial, random service. Native and international tourists with varying pub skills. Diplomatic drinking experience required to drink here.

Don't let the chocolate Stout fool you, have Titanic's capuccino instead, that's the real deal.

Hard stale buns used on the £11.50 burger , the knife could not cut through it. Try something else on the menu instead. Real Ale selection is good.

Always a great selection of well kept beers , but can be very busy from 5-6:30 with the after work crowd

Try the restaurant upstairs (far left corner as you enter), the pies are great and well priced compared to some other lunchtime options.
