Great boozer. It's a young's brewery pub . So get the classic young's bitter. Very reasonable for the central location

Kevin King

Watch your credit cards in this bar I used mine last month in dirty dicks and had my card cloned, nearly £1k spent on Groupon in Poland. Don't let your card out of your sight!

Emily-jane

Fun traditional pub , good mix of city types, locals and tourists . Gets busy, especially on a Friday evening for after work drinks. Good selection of beers and cider on tap .

Daniel Ilizarov

Actually it looks like a simple pub with weird name, but it is like a historical place and everything there looks awesome like in the movies !

Rodríguez Lány

FINALLY TASTY FOOD IN ENGLAND!!!!!first time in 16 years I had good pub food in London!

Judah Johns

Best place in Liverpool Street area to grab a pint and wifi and do some work.

Janith Seneviratne

One of the best pubs I’ve been to, friendly staff and good crowd too

Tina Lauesen-Day

Proper old non-fancy pub . Lovely service. Gorgeous sweet potato fries !

Michaela Watkinson

Good ol' traditional pub . The kinda prices you'd expect around this area but nice selection of drinks and cosy seating areas.

Yannick Amrani

At first I wouldn't have went inside just because of the name!! But well , happy I went in, the Pub is really cool.

Clark Gillies

Great traditional London pub with good selection of beers and drinks. Food looks ok

Lily Robertson

A traditional pub with loads of great history, food and drinks!

Cyndie Da Rocha

Authentic Pub , with a rustic design.

HISTORY UK

Originally named Old Jerusalem , this pub was renamed after Richard, the local dandy and warehouse owner, who became famous for refusing to tidy up after his fiancee died on the eve of their wedding.

Ivy L

Cozy pub and hearty food. Read my review on my blog (ivyeatsagain). Read more

Adrián

It has a good atmosphere and it seems a lot less busy than the pubs around that area.

Shuvani Burt

Pretty busy on a Friday night but food is served upstairs and it's really good

Judah Johns

Wifi & Pints: Whenever I come into town and it's still working hours, I drop by here for a few hours of work. Wifi & Pints

Pascal Guignard

very good Pub with an interesting decoration

Hello

Some say used to be called Old Jerusalem . My Grandfather, who was cellarman here, said it used to be called The Gates Of Jerusalem. So something with Jerusalem in it then!

Faranak Xcll

It's an old pub and great to start your night.

Simon C

A traditional pub - wooden beams, old wooden casks ! If you're veggie - don't expect to eat anything other than chips :(

Aleksey Isakov

A pint of Guinness is a perfect starter here ;)

Ian Agar

Ask for a perry. The Barman will love that.

Ifunt

Second floor is great!

Paul G

Wouldn’t let 5 blokes in at half eight on a Thursday night, absolute joke.

Steve F

Open til 12 "sometimes". By London standards a reliable drink after 11pm.

O'kiss

Like Youngs stout - with a bit of chocolate taste

Hello

My Grandfather used to be the cellarman here (in about 1920 or thereabouts!). Srsly.

Myka England

LGBTQ peeps avoid. Barmaid didn't even have the good grace to partially hide her ridicule and scorn. "What the f*** does he look like?" Does your HR dept or manager think that's OK to treat anybody?

Adam Nowek

The interior is nice but they end up playing bad pop music at an unbearable volume.

Katerina Moor

Great for post-work and pre weekend warm ups; with colleagues!

Alessia Camera

Good for a quick pint. Avoid coming for dinner : food is awful and service is even worse

Natasha McGowan

There are A LOT of men in here
