Great pub for big groups and small groups alike. There's loads of space outdoors and a bar and BBQ in the garden during summer too. The food was expensive so I wandered down the road for fish & chips .

Really really nice pub , good music , great garden and well worth a visit, esp for larger groups. Only downside is the craft beer weren't great and they want £18 for a Sunday roast ...

Great summer pub , d.js, mini golf , loads of outside seating , escape room inside, BBQ food in the summer as well as an outside cocktail bar ! Good atmosphere!

Wonderful place to warm up by the fire in the winter or sit out in the sun in the summer. Often great ales , the food is above average, and the staff are lovely.

The service is a bit shite. And they don't cook their chips through but they are dog &, just about, child & in fact generally friendly . Very nice spot by the heater at western end & tv showing rugger.

Two Sunday roast options are available for vegetarians : a nut roast and a seitan roast

Funky but cute local pub , 2-4-1 burgers on Mondays which were tasty and a real fire. Winning!

Food was awesome, loved the pub .... Strangely the parents were more of an issue than the children (maybe watch the volume when screaming at your offspring)

Too hectic for me. Never enough staff on the bar , takes an age to be served. Saying that, there's a huge beer garden which is ideal for birthdays.

Nice place to have a quiet drink mid-week overlooking Victoria Park, and bike-friendly in the beer garden .

Try the amazing bloody mary that is made in a huge jug- it's thick, chunky, fragrant, spicy ..almost like a gazpacho but alcoholic !

This place seems to have improved a lot in recent times. Definitely worth a trip.

Their Spritz aren't proper Spritz. It's fizzy water with aperol and a sip of prosecco . Apparently it's "how they're told to do it here". I tried to offer to pay more for a proper one and they said no.

A bit pricy for what it is and no veggie option . Great beer garden so definitely worth a beer !

It's lots of fun, The roast was good but not a lot of options, and not a lot of options on the burger bar outside either, as well as being really slow, a "30 minute wait" turned into over an hour.

Decent (but quite expensive ) self-brewed beers - the ESB is particularly good. Large part-covered garden with heaters for the autumn and winter.

Sunday evenings after the spawn and hounds have gone home but before the kitchen closes, the veggie wellington is divine.

Took us over and hour to get served at the bar and an addition two hours for our food to arrive. Terrible service. I would not go for food here again.

Everything about this place is fun

Try the "lamb scrimpetts" from the snack menu (no, I don't know either!) but they taste absolutely ACE!

Service is awful, the self brewed beer unbelievably bland and over-priced. If you're looking for a pub the nearby Royal Inn on the Park has better beer , cheaper prices, and much, much better service.

This pub is unbelievably bad. Service is the worst I've ever come across. Been in a few times as the quiz is really good but it takes hours to get served and you often end up with the wrong thing.

Bring your kids here, the bar doubles as a creche, bonus point if you have a dog

Great potential. Shockingly poor management. Understaffed. Dirty . Menus are dirty , tables left uncleaned for nearly an hour. A don't care attitude. Needs a manager who cares!
