Great pub for big groups and small groups alike. There's loads of space outdoors and a bar and BBQ in the garden during summer too. The food was expensive so I wandered down the road for fish & chips .

Simon Donaldson

Really really nice pub , good music , great garden and well worth a visit, esp for larger groups. Only downside is the craft beer weren't great and they want £18 for a Sunday roast ...

Finding Our Feet Blog

Fab location with big beer garden backing into the park . Space for big groups , great burgers and good service . Changing facilities & highchairs available. Very family friendly , we love it here! ????????

Emily-jane

Great summer pub , d.js, mini golf , loads of outside seating , escape room inside, BBQ food in the summer as well as an outside cocktail bar ! Good atmosphere!

Linney S

Wonderful place to warm up by the fire in the winter or sit out in the sun in the summer. Often great ales , the food is above average, and the staff are lovely.

Pip

The service is a bit shite. And they don't cook their chips through but they are dog &, just about, child & in fact generally friendly . Very nice spot by the heater at western end & tv showing rugger.

Mat A

Two Sunday roast options are available for vegetarians : a nut roast and a seitan roast

Sam J.

Good beers and atmosphere, the outdoor space is comfy . Great for birthdays and meeting big groups of friends.

Pookage Hayes

If you're looking for a place to plug in your laptop or phone then all of the outside booths have plugs behind the white rain-caps!

Brooke Louise

Big outside. Good beer selection . Quick friendly service . Good dogs. No idea about food qual coz didnae.

Sarah Cook

Beautiful outside area and loads of different fun things to do including an escape room .

Remix & Relax

Funky but cute local pub , 2-4-1 burgers on Mondays which were tasty and a real fire. Winning!

Sam Gower

A lovely place to sit in the sun. Despite the many people due to a lovely may bank holiday we found the service very good.

Fabio Nogueira

Really nice food and such a beautiful view to "Vicky Park ". Angus 100% beef was amazing.

Carl-john Fox

Food was awesome, loved the pub .... Strangely the parents were more of an issue than the children (maybe watch the volume when screaming at your offspring)

George

Very nice pub perched on Victoria Park with a great selection of ales and very good food

Vic McGin

Too hectic for me. Never enough staff on the bar , takes an age to be served. Saying that, there's a huge beer garden which is ideal for birthdays.

Nicola W

Nice place to have a quiet drink mid-week overlooking Victoria Park, and bike-friendly in the beer garden .

Matt Hope

Service and ambience way better than in the past, reliable room to breath most nights and cosy log fire Sunday dinners

Try the amazing bloody mary that is made in a huge jug- it's thick, chunky, fragrant, spicy ..almost like a gazpacho but alcoholic !

Simon Bruce

This place seems to have improved a lot in recent times. Definitely worth a trip.

Cyrièle Piancastelli

Their Spritz aren't proper Spritz. It's fizzy water with aperol and a sip of prosecco . Apparently it's "how they're told to do it here". I tried to offer to pay more for a proper one and they said no.

Mike Marfurt

A bit pricy for what it is and no veggie option . Great beer garden so definitely worth a beer !

Louise Organ

It's lots of fun, The roast was good but not a lot of options, and not a lot of options on the burger bar outside either, as well as being really slow, a "30 minute wait" turned into over an hour.

Gavin

Decent (but quite expensive ) self-brewed beers - the ESB is particularly good. Large part-covered garden with heaters for the autumn and winter.

laura wall

Sunday evenings after the spawn and hounds have gone home but before the kitchen closes, the veggie wellington is divine.

Ceara Pixie

Great beer garden for winter and summer!

Matt Barber

Busy lively garden with bottle shop

Emilie W

Great outdoor space

Nicolas Guérin

Huge space , great location

Sebastian Ostman

Great pub . Big pub garden . Too many noisy kids.

Simon Frost

Seriously gone downhill. Menu makes no sense. No more lunch on a weekend just a bad brunch menu . Oppressive beer garden .

Jessica

Awesome food AND they have Uno!

Heidi Blanton

Service was slow at the bar , but there is a nice garden , and a great room upstairs for parties/banquets. Read more

If u love waiting 25 mins for a drink and surly service on a Sunday come here. Lovely spot but woeful attitude...

Hannah Peacock

Took us over and hour to get served at the bar and an addition two hours for our food to arrive. Terrible service. I would not go for food here again.

Jack Smith

Everything about this place is fun

cosmic

Try the "lamb scrimpetts" from the snack menu (no, I don't know either!) but they taste absolutely ACE!

Glen Thomas

Service is awful, the self brewed beer unbelievably bland and over-priced. If you're looking for a pub the nearby Royal Inn on the Park has better beer , cheaper prices, and much, much better service.

Natali Abrahamyan

wifi guest pass Twistedlips

Nic

This pub is unbelievably bad. Service is the worst I've ever come across. Been in a few times as the quiz is really good but it takes hours to get served and you often end up with the wrong thing.

a

Bring your kids here, the bar doubles as a creche, bonus point if you have a dog

Mikey

Beer and board games .

Andy Moore

Please change the name back. It's a pub .

Kay McMahon

Dog and child friendly ! Great food, summer outdoor BBQs, and friendly staff .

Nick Boardman

Saturday afternoons this place more like a crèche or nursery

Kay McMahon

Weekend service is stretched. Get a garden keg please!

Matt White

Hounds and spawn . That's all you'll find. Hounds and spawn

jettyson

book ahead in winter, as it is freezing on the tables outside .

Damian De C

Great potential. Shockingly poor management. Understaffed. Dirty . Menus are dirty , tables left uncleaned for nearly an hour. A don't care attitude. Needs a manager who cares!
