Great chose of ales and ciders ... Drinks and food are served very quickly.. Extremely friendly and welcoming ... Good place to chill out after a busy day... Traditional english food upstairs ..
Wonderful Victorian pub with a traditional and elaborate interior. Great real ales .
Dancing barmen, not too crowded (maybe owing to bank holiday), central location (stone's throw away from Liverpool Station) and nice atmosphere. Beer selection could be a bit better.
A pleasant place to have a good beer , near my hotel , pleasant employees .. Beers are great and cold
great place to drink good beer , cozy atmosphere
Typical Nicholson's bar....good beer selection and food is reasonably priced and tasty. Very convenient for meeting friends
Love it here. A proper "olde" London pub . Great for sitting in a dark corner having a drink with a friend.
Interesting response when we asked what Roast's they had for Sunday Lunch .. Waiter told us about all their Beers !!!
Very nice place. Very nice people, helpfull staff
The cider is good. Didn't try any foods though.
Next door to DD and far less crowded . More room and less traffic outside.
If rammed downstairs, head upstairs to dining area where you can usually get a table
The Roast Chicken on a Sunday was nice and good value . My mate's fish and chips looked massive.
This divey citybar full of loud testosterone has a quiet restaraunt upstairs if in need of a wuiet place for a meeting.
Ok pub . Very busy and good for quick pint after work.
Try guest ales first when order
Very nice atmosphere
There's a long wait for food in the traders bar on a Saturday...
Good mix of guest ales and always good Guiness .
Usually has some great guest ales !
Sneaky seats upstairs !
You can always get a seat upstairs
Great place to go out after work for a quick pint
Bar staff are slow, wrong food bought to the table. When the food eventually arrived the sausages were not nice and we suspect they were off. Would not recommend.
Fantastic array of draught lager and ale. Worth stopping for one or two in. - Jangla
Head upstairs for a quieter space and fantastic espresso martinis! - Rachel Roth
Good Sunday roast, really tasty nut roast for vegetarians. Used to come for bangers and mash which was also brilliant and a decent selection of beers. - Chris R (thechristophe)
Proper old non-fancy pub. Lovely service. Gorgeous sweet potato fries! - Tina Lauesen-Day
Favourite Sunday hangout. Lots of quirky stalls and nice restaurants. The book stall is amazing and cheap. - Michaela Watkinson
Convenient location in a stunning building. Has some good beers on at a good price. - Keith Greywood
