I LOVE the Swedish meatballs ! Actually all the food is great at the cafeteria . We've gone to Ikea just to eat - it's like a hidden gem . Oh, and all the stuff in the store is fantastic too!

Great selection on everything from tables to forks. Avoid display pillows (theyre around 15 dollara each), instead buy the coverings and filling (about 7 dollars total). You'll find them downstairs

They need one of these in Christiansburg or Blacksburg. Cool and neat stuff and lots to look at. Great place to get stuff for your home or business.

Come on weekdays ; even taking a day off is worth your sanity compared to weekend "combat shoppers". Night & day difference in the size & rudeness of crowds compared to Saturday or Sunday.

The frozen yogurt ( it's basically ice cream ) is really good, but the highlight of my trip was the amazingly delicious meatballs !

The Gravlax is the best! The Swedish Food Market on the first floor has all kinds of wonderful delicacies.

This is one of the better organized Ikeas in the DC-Baltimore area. The cheese in the food store is surprisingly good.

Walking through IKEA always seems to be a stressful endeavor. Grab some ice cream after to relax. It's worth the $1.

Get an IKEA Family card for extra discounts and a free coffee/tea in the restaurant every time you shop. And always check the As-Is department!

My hot tip would have to be the ludicrously cheap , decent quality kitchen utensils and equipment - THEY ROCK!!

The furniture is too cute and they have a food stand by the check outs with ice cream for a dollar as well as hot dogs and cinabuns

Grab a drink or snack first, keep the receipt and deduct it fom your purchases.

If you need to return something, even small, it takes at least an hour...and that's in the middle of the of the day on a Tuesday! I can't imagine how long a weekend takes.
