If you are looking for some hands on family fun, the Discovery Science Center is the place to visit this summer! Check out their selection of educational events throughout the year!
Eat before you go, trust me. Extremely crowded in the morning due to bus loads of school kids on field trips . I found the Eco grocery market offensive , their virtual employees display hatred.
Love this place definitely check it out. They are santa ana residents free admission days. Food inside is expensive so eat before going.

Great place for young kids to play and explore. Much to do but wear a mask unless you want covid.
The dino quest is a waste and the exhibit isn't user friendly ; don't buy. Especially for younger kids. If you live in the area, get a season pass here (can even double with a friend for family pass).
A great place to visit. I liked the fact that they had people there to help and answer questions...maybe the reason for the high price ticket. But, definitely a place to visit with the kiddos!
NASA Jet Propulsion Lab helped to build the Space Exploration exhibit . Highlights include a Mars rover Curiosity replica, rocket fuel station , rocket launch station, and real RS-68 booster engine . Read more
When the busloads of school kids come they can take over the place. Luckily the center has 2 floors. Just stay opposite of where the field trip kids are. Outside can be good to avoid crowds too.
Overnight program is awesome. Whole center to yourself, only way to see Dino Quest at night
Free admission for BoA customers on the first Sunday of the month. We come here often!
Bank of America Free Day for Bank of America cardholders receive free admission on the first Sunday of each month.
If your a teacher , sign up for the TEAMS workshops. Great science activities with a literature book . Plus $80 worth of supplies and dinner !
Buy an annual pass its 100 dollars for 2 adults and 4 kids park at the mall and walk instead of paying for parking
Everything (museum & bubble event ) was fine but nothing was great. Nothing there felt like it was complete. I wanted something like the Exploratorium in SF, but it wasn't even close. 3 out of 5 stars
check out their table top demonstrations for crafts you can take home
DSC was voted one of OC's most trusted brands for 2012. A great place for the family for sure!
Great place to play with legos

Our 2nd year attending the members only Bug Invasion event , every time we come here it's a great adventure!
Get here right as it opens on the weekend (10 AM) and you can spend an hour or two before the crowds get here...
Excelent place for children, they learn while they play
This place is great, I remember when my son got to go there as a field trip . He <3 it!!
Kind of mediocre compared to a top notch children's museum like exploratorium . What's with the hot wheels advertisement pretending to be education ?
Can't wait for MythBusters the Exhibit to open! Hear this exhibit is awesome!!
Great way to entertain your kids for a day, become a member it is awesome
A place to have a quality time with your kids
For a family its just a little but more for a membership than it is for a one day trip.. And the perks are great :)
My son loves to go here. Always interesting and educational for kids of any age, even parents :)
Tinker Toy exhibit going on right now is fu for the kids, also check out the tour of the solar system show!
Bug Invasion ! The new exhibit opening on Saturday looks awesome. Affordable and totally worth coming!
Wonderful field trip .
Do NOT go on the first Tuesday of the month when locals get in free... it's complete mayhem! Also, the customer service is severely lacking.
A good place for children
With the Sb natural history museum ...you get in for FREE!
Museum trip...
a great place to take kids. the 4-D movie was fun - sit in the front row if you can.

Kids play here! Few things for kids to run around and do silly things. Smaller than I expected, but to kids it might be the best place ever, especially when some kids decided to horde all the toys. - Martin D. Ciao
