Came here for the first time and got the Bacato with a short stack . The food was amazing, definitely coming back. Just be prepared for a long line . It's very popular, and there's always a crowd.
Awesome gravy, of course, but scrambles and pancakes also nailed it (though large portions mean one order could feed three people, so plan to split or carry home). Definitely coming back!
Best Monte Christo ever! French toast topped with ham , turkey , and swiss....oh wait and 2 eggs over easy . House potatoes rocked too. Washed it all down with a spicy bloody Mary ????
They have HUGE portions here. I had the Monte Cristo French Toast and it was very delicious. Service was a little slow - we waited about 10 min before anyone acknowledged us after sitting down.
Really good service and portions. The corned beef hash was amazing and the hot sauce with it was beautiful. Bewared, food coma will come if not prepared.
Their biscuits and gravy is absolutely to die for, but can you really expect anything less from a place whose name sake is gravy? Also, their applejack drink is perfect for brunch .
Nearly a 2 hour wait at 1pm on a weekend, so come on a weekday. Hash brown scramble is fab. Find better biscuits at pine state biscuits .
Awesome breakfast ! Expect to wait! Chicken fried chicken , chilli verdes and French toast amazing!
I had the bacato scramble and it was fantastic! My friend gives two thumbs up to the country fried steak and eggs .
A ridiculously popular brunch spot with the locals on Mississippi. Be prepared to wait. Well-deserved for their amazing biscuits and gravy .
Bring your appetite, enough food for two. I love the Dalaise omelette and smoked salmon hash . Probably the best hash browns in the city .
Corned beef hash with eggs and brulèed oatmeal . Pancakes !
Country fried steak was the real thing! Plenty to choose from for any diet... non meat, vegan , etc.
Possibly the best hash browns I've ever had. And the biscuits and gravy here rocks too! Worth the wait for some good eats.
Everything is amazing! You can tell the food is fresh. Get something with bacon or gravy ????
Excellent food and reasonable prices.
This place was great but I tell you what, portion size is crazy. I should have split my scramble with someone. Super good tho.
Huge portions of delicious breakfast food (I.e. biscuits and gravy ). Don't bother waiting around for screen door
easily the best biscuts and gravy in town , and they had the most elaborate and delicious oatmeal EVER. it's a must-do if your in Portland. huge portions , great price point.
The wait was fully worth it. Biscuits and gravy super good. The oatmeal brûlée is something to be experienced as well .
sweet and surprisingly good biscuits + amazing house made hot sauce
Not a surprise but the biscuits and gravy were to die for! The oatmeal brûlée was also a must.
This has to be my most favorite place, bar none just remember to come with an appetite because the amount of food is huge
HUGE portions ! A classic weekend brunch favorite on Mississippi, be prepared for the wait!
Scrambled and Omelets are huge!
Veggie biscuits and gravy is one of the best vegetarian breakfast in Portland
Good biscuits but veggie gravy tastes weird. Go the hash brown scramble route.
In house made hot sauce is GREAT!
you can order a red beer w the spicy house bloody mary mix rather than straight tomato juice for a slightly more legit version of a michilada. recommended.
Always remember to order hash browns , as Gravy's are the best!
Another great biscuits and gravy spot, but also known for their giant pancakes and waffles .
Friendly/sassy (in a great way) staff and delicious brunch .
The portion sizes are ridiculously large! Don't worry about side orders - you will not leave hungry!
Unless you are in an eating competition you're going to want to split a dish. The potions are huge.
Fried chicken and gravy and French toast on the side ????
Don't ignore the mushroom gravy . I know sausage gravy sounds like the bomb but the mushroom gravy rocks too.
leftover omelets are good the next day scrambled with olive oil and more eggs
Portions are unreasonably big. Share a plate. They must have lots of food waste
The veggie cheesesteak is deliciously indulgent. You can fill your belly and still have a meal's worth to take home.
Best breakfast in Portland! Try a scramble! The delise is my personal fave!
Portions are insane-o. We split a scramble and still boxed it to go. Awesome space, great lighting a must. Magic 8 ball says I'll be back again.
Love this place. My waistline loves that I don't go often enough... (the coffee could use some work though)
Try the oatmeal brûlée . You won't regret it. Hashbrowns were ok but a little burned and on the dry side.
I don’t know what I’ve been eating all my life, but today I found the Holy Grail of gravy.
Creme brûlée oatmeal . Enough said. Just do it.
The hashbrowns are delicious...but dangerous. A rouge one stabbed me in the elbow. Watch out!!
Big portions but very delicious
French toast , coffee , omelette , sausage
Huge portions . Delicious tasting.
The Romeo is a wonderful scramble!
The Spike Lee and Big Hit are two really tasty breakfast burritos. Bring your pups too and sit in the garden or on the patio ! - Nikkita Wong
Try cheap happy hour fare. Gnocchi and Caesar salad are both amazing and cheap! - Raymond Brigleb
Get the Sassy Mary! The smoked salmon bene is awesome and the corned beef hash was yummy too! - Iris Willow
Tea is great and comes in a very clever pot. Bagels are tasty and make for a good breakfast, especially with the hummus. - Gabriel Bergin
Expansive book metropolis! The gifts and stationery are as good as the books. Nice coffee shop too. - Natalia Baker
The blueberry basil blew my mind. Complex, tart, not too sweet, all on a light, springy doughnut! - Christine Wu
