Good news! The park now has wood chips instead of gravel and there are plans to install a double gate . If you swore off this dog park years or months before, give it another shot!
The park is back to gravel but does have a double gate , and the gap under the fence has been fixed. There is now more of a community aspect and people try to maintain as much as possible.
keep an eye on your small pups, there are gaps in the mesh on the fence & a hole (btwn the small & large sections) little ones can squeeze through/under. the small dog section gate is often left open.
I haven't been back since it was 1st opened. There was never dogs here which defeats the purpose. So I'm back today. No dogs in sight and the water fountain doesnt work.
Really need to put wood chips down, or at least more sand, and a double gate would be REALLY great.
please clean up after your dog. we clean up after others every time we come! no one likes doo on their shoe .
Dog bowl/fountain has a lift handle for a fresh bowl for your four legged loved one!
If your dog is small, he could fit under the gate. Also, there should be a double gate .
nice new dog park . has small and big dog sections . plus a water fountain for dogs.
Needs more small dogs . My guy is too scared of the big dogs . Little dog side is always empty
This place bites compared to Cooper Bark.
Check in often so the doggies can play together!
Makes me really uncomfortable that he entrance isn't double gated .
worst dog park I've seen in nyc. horribly maintained, no double gates , and a fence any dog under 15 lbs could sneak through.
Very nice change from the one by our apt. But the dogs can get pretty dirty from rolling around in the dirt - Mary Colleen
It's a great dog park, that was move from one end of the park diagonally across to the other side of the park!!! - Mecs Boogie
Not an official dog park, still officially clean up your poop. - Adam Jacobs
The place is brand new. Great selection and good prices! Going here from now on. - Heather Popil
Top notch gelato and cookies. Try the Stracciatella and a biscotti with espresso for dipping if you have room. - Abigail Koffler
A hipster friendly Japanese cafe and restaurant. Food is delicious and cheap. People bring books or laptops to study. There isn't a lot of spots to sit. Service is quick. Try the salmon bento. Trendy. - Berk Kapicioglu
