This building housed Chatterton's Bookshop . It was known for poetry and independent publications. Poets such as Billy Collins and Allen Ginsberg frequented and read here until it closed in 1994.

There's a tree right in the middle of the store, under a parallelogram of glass. What I wouldn't give to level it with my axe! But when I tried, they threw me out. Phooey.

An interesting selection of political theory, gender and literary criticism.
A lot of the books here contain the same exact words, just in different orders but I guess that's true for many book stores these days.
