Good for young kids. Thankfully lots of seating opportunities for grown-ups. There is even a guest WiFi . For some reason with a password. guest/spring at the moment.
Great place for kids. Make sure u bring some extra clothes , cause of water events . Food are cheap and reasonable. Big place, story telling. Parking is a problem. Have to pay 5$ all day. A block away
Super fun! Try to eat at home or bring your own food though, as the food court there is always super loud and crowded . Make sure to go to all of the rooms, as they have something fun everywhere!
Take time to visit as much as possible. There's an outdoor section to "climb" trees , plus a section to create bubbles, a fire truck , water games , plus more!!
Start at the 2nd floor - tons of hands on activities. Leave the water station for last so you can change clothes at home.
In addition to a change of clothes , bring galoshes or water shoes , or just another pair of shoes , so kids don't have to wear soaked sneakers home.
This beloved children's science center boasts a separate floor for preschoolers ! There's even a special playroom so small babies can explore soft toys and carpeted ramps just for them.

My kid had great fun. Carry extra dress for tour kid, as he may get wet in water games .
Bring an extra pair of dry socks for the little ones after playing with the water activities they may need them.
WATER ZONE! Do it last, or bring a change of clothes . Let the kids play!
Don't forget to go upstairs for the play area or downstairs for the bubbles.

The crawl space at the back of the wonderloft is great for non walkers. The wonderloft is interesting for toddlers-preschoolers too.

Weekdays r usu the best time to go. We have the entire museum to ourselves... And just a couple more families.
4th of July fireworks
On the second floor there is a Crawl Space for babies, with interesting textures and things to crawl over. One parent can stay with the younger child while the other parent goes with the older.
