In 1928 the museum first opened in the administration building of AMORC, but as the collection of artifacts grew, so did the museum. It was permanently moved here in 1995 W/all of Harvey Lewis’ pieces.
Awesome exhibits , tomb tour is a must see, beautiful vast grounds, NO GIFT SHOP .
The "RC" designation is related to the Rosicrucianism filing system, not the age of the item. Anyway, fantastic pieces.
A little sadder and more run down than I remember from my youth. No mention of the audio tour or passport stamp when we paid. Make sure to bring a camera that can take non-flash pictures in low light .
Beautiful construction and wonderful ancient Egyptian exhibit .
Incredible collection of Egyptian artifacts . Check out the cat mummies
Really disappointed. Great collection but poor site. My mom has trouble walking and needs a cane but she couldn't make it through much of the space because of all the stairs.
Always one of my favorites, as a child and an adult.
Been going here forever. Be sure you check out the cat mummies and kids should get a little passport for $.50 and get it stamped at each of the stations.
Download the audio tour from the website before entering :-)
Beautiful gardens
