Tasty cheap food. Dimly lit. Bar , booth , and table seating. The stairs are a bit precarious, but this remains one of my favorite cozy bars .

My all time favorite bar in Raleigh. Amazing drink specials . My favorite food option is the London Broil with additional green peppers .

Pimento cheese & fried green tomato sandwich or the tuna salad in a tomato are always delicious!!

Mitch Hazouri owns this small business with diverse customers. They use locally produced vegetables for most of its food. We recommend the gluten-free gumbo .

The London broil is wonderful. Gentlemen, make sure to use the loo before you come though. Not the best facilities.

The veggie chili is the best around.

When it's warm, eat on the patio . When it's cold, eat the gumbo .

Avoid the veggie melt . As a lifelong vegetarian , I couldn't even choke it down. Its a 3/4" thick slice of eggplant , a zuccini sliced in half and warmed bread with a half melted piece of cheese .
