This landmark bar serves Whiskeys , Ryes , Mini burgers , cocktails , beers on draft , and has a good selection of board games . The best part are the old-school wooden booths that have a service button.

On Tuesdays, you'll find the space packed for trivia night ; other evenings, cozy up in a booth with a beer , a frito pie , and one of their dozen or so board games .

Underrated gem. Only a dive in the absolute loosest sense. More like a cozy British pub that also does a great cocktail and has a cute backyard .

Don’t be fooled by the “dive” vibe of this place - the surfaces are not sticky, the food is incredible and the drinks are top notch. Bonus points if you score a booth .

My favorite bar in NYC. Very dark, woody, and pub-ish; booths with swing-closed doors, antlers abound, and a fireplace to boot. You'll love it here in the winter.

The best Welsh bar in a Polish / Hipster area I can think of. Occasionally you'll see a notable comedian or two. Get there early for a booth , or stand & awkwardly move out of people's way all night.
