One of the finest examples of Victorian pub architecture and one of the most beautiful pub interiors in the country. Built in 1901 at a cost of some £12,000 on the site of a former pub purchased for £10,000 and demolished. Designed by a Mr Brassington of James and Lister Lea.

Most ornate pub in Birmingham. Great real ale .
Amazing food. Quite spicy , not bland like most other places where you need to ask for '6 peppers ' to taste anything. Ask for the tour around the building, it has amazing history!
the good starter for me is snack combo no.19, and for main yellow curry chicken or ped pad supparod(duck with pineapple ) with eggs fired rice and JHB beers . they are awesome, come to try!!!!

This pub is located about a 15 minute walk away from Villa Park on High Street Aston (A34). This Grade II listed building is a regular entry in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide.
