The Alma Pub

The portions are MASSIVE! Good quality food. Lovely sunlit place, (especially benches by the window) during the day but they also have a beer garden/outdoor seating.

Ribs are amazing. Could not finish the 1/2 rack and did not touch the side of chips . Chop is MASSIVE too! Staff are super friendly and they are used to providing doggy bags ! Will be back!

Excellent vegetarian burger and the accompanying chips were to die for. Onion rings also stellar. Leffe on tap too! Only downside, limited vegetarian options so probably won't go back anytime soon.

Lovely cosy little pub ! Proper Sunday roasts . Dog friendly . Outdoor seating . Great place for a long catch up with friends. They have great live music events too ????

Lovely, cosy pub . We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and it was table service only (including for drinks) so you may get turned away if there is no space

The food is amazing, especially the pork , apple and carrot pie . The staff are really friendly and helpful as well . Also, there's a waiter who looks like Robert Downey Jr?

No chips on Sundays? Outrage. Though their amazing vegan side options are very fancy and yummy.

Small pub , great big beer garden . The wine is a touch on the expensive side, but nice selection.

Not just the Alma but the new Alma. Nice ambience, food looks great. Shame that the big brewery 's supplying the ales . Some quality micro brewery tipples would sit well here.

Have the venison pie if it's on the menu. It's the best!
